How long is the free trial and do I need a credit card? +
The free trial is 45 days — no credit card, no setup fee, nothing to pay upfront. After 45 days, you choose Basic (₹99/month) or Premium (₹500/month). If you don't subscribe, the account is simply paused. No data is deleted.
Can flat owners see each other's payment details? +
Flat owners can see the overall collection and expense summary (full transparency), but individual payment statuses per flat are visible only to the President and Treasurer. Every owner can see their own payment history in detail.
How does the water bill calculation work? +
You enter the previous and current meter reading for each flat, set your per-unit water rate, and FlatFlow automatically calculates each flat's bill. You can then generate payment requests for all flats in one tap and notify residents via push notification.
We have 120 flats. Which plan do we need? +
You'll need the Premium Plan (₹500/month) which supports up to 250 flats. For 120 flats that works out to less than ₹5 per flat per month — less than the cost of a single WhatsApp sticker pack.
Do flat owners need to install the app? +
No. FlatFlow works on any browser — flat owners can open app.flatflow.in on their phone without installing anything. The Android app is available on Google Play for those who prefer it, but it's completely optional.
How do residents receive their login credentials? +
After you add flats, FlatFlow auto-generates a unique username and password for each flat owner. You can share these credentials directly via WhatsApp with one tap — no manual copying needed.
Is our data safe and private? +
Yes. FlatFlow is built on Google Firebase — the same infrastructure used by thousands of enterprise apps. All data is stored in India-region servers, encrypted at rest and in transit. No data is shared with third parties.
